Meet Dr. Miramontes, ND:

"Most of my patients are surprised to find out that I myself was an infertility patient before becoming a Naturopathic Doctor.  I was told by my own doctor that "Well, there's always IVF", and ultimately that it was unlikely that I would become pregnant without it.  Knowing IVF is notorious for being expensive, having if-y results, and being hard on your body, I opted to try natural therapies before I started.  My intention was to strengthen and prepare my body for the difficult road to come with my first round of IVF.   To my great delight, relief, surprise *all the emotions* it was through natural medicine, that I became pregnant with what was to become my first daughter.  Like many other women, I was certain my fertility struggles were behind me...but it turns out that getting pregnant would be harder than I thought for all three of my children.  While I have moved forward with my own journey, the isolation and emotionally shattering experiences of infertility have stayed with me.  This is why I am dedicated to helping other women find their footing along this path."  

 

Dr. Miramontes is the founder and owner of Heal San Diego since 2018. She holds her Degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University. She went on to complete her Residency with Dr. Sandeep Chaudhary, MD of Wellspring Endocrinology, and advanced mentorship training in Natural Fertility Interventions with Dr. Jaqueline Chasse, ND a pioneer and leader in the field of Integrative Fertility.

 

She has over 200 hours of hands on training in Ayurvedic Medicine in both the US and South India. She consults locally with Conventional Medicine Practices seeking to include Integrative medicine, and regularly makes guest appearances on podcasts to discuss the latest natural solutions backed by science. She is passionate about giving back to her local and global community especially supporting education for women in underserved communities worldwide.
